OUR MEDICAL EXPERTS

Nurse Practitioner Kim graduated from Laurentian University with her BScN in 2011. She then completed her Masters in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certificate from Athabasca University in 2022. Her background includes primary care, acute care, palliative care, and most recently medical aesthetics.  

She completed her basics and advanced medical aesthetics trainings through the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics in 2022.  Shortly after she founded Uplifted Medical. 

Kim is our go to expert for therapeutic uses of botulinum toxin, with her special interest in the treatment of chronic migraines and ailments. She is committed to providing safe and comprehensive medical aesthetic care.  

“Working in medical aesthetics was never something that I planned, it was something I stumbled into. I began receiving ‘Botox’ several years ago and was amazed at how effective it was. It was through this experience that I began to pursue medical aesthetics. I wanted to make it more accessible to people in my area. I initially had to travel to Ottawa and spend an astronomical amount of money on my injections every few months, which is not feasible for many.

My mission is to ensure that you are fully informed by providing a comprehensive medical consultation , and focusing on enhancing your natural beauty, respecting your anatomy, and delivering natural results. "

Nurse Sarah's journey in the medical field began in 2007 when she graduated as a Personal Support Worker. Furthering her education, she obtained a degree in nursing in 2009, solidifying her commitment to patient care. 

Sarah has always strived to find opportunities to make a positive impact on the lives of others. In 2010, Sarah embarked on an African Nursing Mission Trip and. in 2015, pursued a Life Coaching Certification in Bali, Indonesia.

Sarah took her basics and advanced medical aesthetics training through the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics in 2020.  

With a passion for helping others look and feel their best, Sarah has dedicated her career to providing a safe and judgment-free space for women to express themselves.

“I believe medical aesthetics is more than just a cosmetic procedure—it's about instilling confidence and building relationships. I aspire to be the reason someone smiles, to make a difference in the lives of others, and to help individuals believe in themselves.”

 Born and raised in Smiths Falls, Sarah is deeply connected to her community, and Uplifted Medical remains dedicated to serving the local residents and and judgment-free space for women to express themselves.

Terri is the owner and Laser Technician at Smoothe Skin and Laser Clinic operating within Uplifted Medical. Her mission is to meet the unique needs of each individual in a personalized way and strives to deliver top notch laser treatments that yield positive results.

Terri completed her certification  through training at the prestigious Ottawa Academy and entered the rapidly growing medical aesthetics industry.
